Individualism vs Collectivism
Individuals in a society are easily trampled by the natural force of the collective
so therefore special measures need to exist that protect the individual's rights from
the passions and greed of the collective. We are familiar with these special measures
typically called the "Bill of Rights". They are found in every States and Federal Constitution
and usually found at the beginning of the document as it is the most important
element in our society. Historically, it has been common to see tyranny in societies
that favor the collective over the individual.
Local First Politics
Local government in the United States refers to the general-purpose governments
at the county, city, town, or township level and special-purpose governments, which
include special districts and school districts. In our own history, our popular revolution
was started by only one city, Boston, when it protected the individual rights of the
people against laws imposed by the national government and King.
Principle Over Power
The two major parties have sacrificed their principles in their bid to acquire power.
We see it over and over again, where the opposition unites to defeat the entrenched
ruling party, then breaks up itself from internal pressures, when it wins power, since
there was no over-riding principle behind its ascension to power but to depose the
ruling party. It's the left vs right paradigm that continues to erode our liberties as
individuals in this nation. We must unite together under a common cause for liberty and
individualism to end this vicious cycle starting at the local levels first.
Grassroots Bottom Up
The most important thing that organizers do, namely, is develop relationships of mutual
confidence among people, so they can act together; also, that organizers, successful
ones at least, build powerful organizations. The Bottom up approach helps build people
power organizations so that regular everyday people can influence and shape the
decision-making processes that affect their lives. Although we are a national organization,
we are focused on building the smallest local groups at the precinct level of society.
This organization's purpose is to build Precinct Organizations across the United States.
Respecting Human Natural Rights
Our Declaration of Independence was inspired by the age of enlightenment and
philosophers like John Locke. Those of the enlightenment believed that our rights as
human beings pre-exist government and government only exist to protect those individual
rights. Our goal is to return our laws back to protecting individual rights rather than the
collective and return to the philosophy espoused in our Declaration of Independence.
